Hello! My name is Emily and I’m a retired physician. As a child, I knew I wanted to embark on a career that involved helping people and that is why I chose medicine. For years, I worked in a major New York City hospital and fulfilled my childhood passion one patient at a time. My patients ranged from children to senior citizens, and I can say I have seen everything there is to see. Since I am now retired, and have a lot of spare time on my hands, I wanted to get into blogging so I can continue sharing my medical expertise. Currently, I reside in New York with my husband of 38 years, and our two dogs, Lola and Lolly.
